Alabama Mesothelioma Lawyer
Environmental Attorneys Group, P.C.
In February, 2001, attorney Martin K. Berks broke off from the Environmental Litigation Group, a Birmingham, Alabama law firm, where his practice was devoted almost exclusively to helping Alabama workers who had been injured by their job related exposure to asbestos. It became clear to Mr. Berks that there were many people who had been injured by other environmental exposures such as to benzene, lead, or chlorinated solvents who were struggling to find experienced counsel to assist them in seeking justice. Mr. Berks began the Environmental Attorneys Group with the goal of expanding his legal practice into these other areas in addition to the asbestos litigation in which he was already so heavily involved.
Mr. Berks and his staff have almost thirty years of combined litigation experience Mr. Berks is highly regarded by his peers and has extensive experience in the State, Federal, and Appellate courts.
EAG is rapidly becoming nationally known as a plaintiffs’ law firm with a unique focus on helping individuals in complicated litigation matters whose health has been stolen from them as a result of an insidious environmental exposure that they were unaware of or were confident was not dangerous at the time it occurred. In EAG’s short history, the Firm’s client base has grown dramatically as a result of referrals by satisfied clients and from other attorneys in Alabama and across the country. EAG’s attorneys have handled or are presently involved in cases filed in Alabama, Georgia, Texas, Mississippi, Illinois and other states.
